OLY ghost...

Olympia Ghost Hunting Society is proud to present OLY Ghost Online, a blog that will in fact, chronicle our progress in the exploration of the unknown.

Current Mission:
We are currently researching local area spots where paranormal activity has occurred.
My Research has led me to a remote location in Steilacoom, Washington. Here is the story I found.

- Fairy Train Tracks - Steilacoom - is notorious for its ghost encounters and has established a well-known history for all of those who live in the surrounding areas of the town. Located on the train tracks directly in front of the fairy pier you can sometimes hear a faint ghostly sound of a phantom train whistle followed by a distinct scream from a person supposedly to have been struck by a train. The fairy pier is said to have strange occurrences itself. Late at night, the ghostly figure of a young child can be seen from a distance playing along the pier. While walking towards it however, it slowly maturates into a much older and feebler looking figure until it slowly fades away.

And here is a direct quote from a local in Steilacoom...

"The train tracks part are obvious but the "fairy pier" is something I'm curious about. I'm not sure where that would be unless it's at the ferry dock. Maybe they mean FERRY which is what I ride everyday to get to and from the island. I'm pretty sure that's what they mean. And just since I moved here in 2004 3 people have been hit by trains including 2 suicides by homeless people from Western State Hospital and one kid that was an accident. The ferry dock, tracks and pier are easy to find."

Also I am currently doing research on a ex-mental hospital in Steilacoom but I have yet to find hard evidence as to where it is and the happenings of the location.


Tacoma also seems to hold promising locations for further exploration...
